Kemilembe Barongo
Kemilembe was born and raised in Arusha and Dar es Salaam and from her early days her family knew that she was a problem solver. Hailing from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, she holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Law School of Tanzania and is a member of both the Tanzanian and East African law societies as a practicing advocate.
Her focus has been on supporting businesses and investments with legal support while ensuring that they stay compliant In all their activities. In her line of work, Kemilembe has been honored to assist over fifty companies set up their operations in Tanzania and the number is still rising, from Mining entities, Trading companies, Microfinances, Medical Organizations, Manufacturing companies Kemilembe has seen it all.
She is known for being observant and professional but aggressive when it comes to her clients’ rights. Kemilembe has been shortlisted for the International Women in Business Law Awards EMEA 2024 as a rising star.

Kemilembe enjoys writing, reading, socializing and travelling. She spends her time meeting people from different parts of the world and socializing on different aspects of Business.
Kemilembe leads the Corporate and Business Development Department. She maintains client relations and works on maintaining long client relations. Kemilembe also manages the firm’s CSR and Talent Retention profile and guides the firm towards maintaining its motto which is making law work for you. She spends her free time training youth and women on the law and their rights and supporting empowerment of minorities. She lives by the firm’s 2024 motto which is Blazing Trails and creating waves of change.
